Explosion-proof instruments
Ashe offers a wide range of process measurement and control instruments in Flame-proof / Explosion-proof execution for operation in hazardous area applications. The instruments are designed for use in industries where high degree of vibration, inclement weather and corrosive atmospheres prevail.

The electronics is mounted inside low-copper, epoxy coated die-cast Aluminum enclosures, which have a Safety Glass window for process and control indication. For more aggressive environments, Stainless Steel SS-316 versions are also offered. Instruments such as Digital Loop Powered Indicators, Digital process Indicators for all applications, On/Off Controllers, Flow Totalizers and Batch Controllers, Temperature Transmitters, Earthing Relays, etc., are offered in this execution.

The enclosures are compact, rugged and aesthetically designed. They are offered in attractive colors for Aluminum enclosures and Natural Silver color for Stainless Steel SS-316 enclosures. Complete mounting accessories are offered for field or 2” pipe mounting. The enclosures are certified for use in Gas Groups IIA and IIB and Zone 1 and 2 atmosphere by CIMFR, Dhanbad for Flame-proof applications as per IS:2148-1981 and Weather-proof applications for IP-65 protection as per IS:13947(Part-1):1993.
